Dessert Parlour and Treat Spectacular at Creams Cafe

Dessert. My main weakness when it comes to food is sugar, particularly dessert. I crave sugar more than any other food and on the occasion that I give in to my cravings, there's not a better place to treat myself with a tonne of sugar than Creams, an American styled parlour specialising in all things dessert and treat-based. With cafes across the UK, I'm sure you're not too far away from one.

The menu is very extensive and is so customisable too! Ranging from crepes to sundaes, waffles to cookie dough and gelato to milkshakes, there is something for everyone! My absolute favourite thing to order is the Chocolate Fudge Mess Waffle which is a freshly made waffle, topped with hot chocolate fudge cake and toffee sauce with a side of vanilla ice cream along with a Cinnamon Spice Mocha. Cravings are banished and the feeling of satisfaction and fullness is wonderful. The waffles are pretty huge and well worth the money. If you don’t fancy one of the already created waffles, you can customise it with whatever toppings you would like ranging from Nutella to fruit to different sauces to different flavours of ice cream and more!

The menu is huge but I have tried a lot of things from there including a Chocolate Protein Power Shake which is unbelievably thick and tasty, the Choc Fudge Hot-N-Cold Volcano which is essentially the same as my favourite pick but without the waffle and a heap of ice cream instead! Another waffle which is particularly yummy and filling is the Hungry Jacks Apple Pie and Custard waffle, perfect if you're feeling rather hungry. I have to confess a love for the Peanut M&M waffle too. The freak shakes are also rather good, particularly the Oreo one! The Ferrero Rocher Sundae and Cookie Dough isn’t half bad either! I could go on and on but I would definitely recommend a trip or ten there! Your mouth will be watering for more!

If you are a milkshake lover, then the chocolate bar milkshakes are something else to try! I have tried the Malteser, Snicker and Peanut M&M milkshake, perfect if you’re craving something a little lighter than a waffle or crepe. If you are more of a candy lover, then there are lots of sweet varieties of milkshakes, crepes and waffles including topping them with skittles and popping candy. If you’re a lover of fruit then there are plenty of fruit varieties for you to try. If you just fancy ice cream, there are an array of flavours ranging from hazelnut to bubblegum to banana to cherry to cappuccino plus your stereotypical flavours. There honestly is something for everyone! If you can’t finish your dessert (which could be likely), the staff will be more than willing to give you a takeaway tub or cup for you to take home. Enjoy!

I live a 10 minute walk away from one and I've been so tempted to go in, but I've never really found a reason. It seems a bit odd to go into a restaurant just for pudding (now that I've typed that, it actually doesn't seem so strange), but I'll definitely have to give it a go soon. I see their posts on Facebook all the time and their puds look INSANE!
